Art Sangeet: A Space in the Forest
A collaboration with Skulptörens Verkstad
A space in the forest is a visual art project investigating the interplay between visual art, music and nature. The audience will be invited to enter “The forest of sculptures”, an artistic installation of sculpural spaces at Villa Ed.
As a part of the event the group Palace On Wheels will present a program of North Indian Classical Music focusing on the relation between music, nature and contemplation and the space that can be created by music. The program will start with a short discussion between visual artists and musicians about the significance of, and relations between, physical, musical and mental spaces.
The project is presented by Kulturföreningen Källaren in collaboration with Skulpturskogen Ed, Villa Ed and Stockholm Sangeet Festival.
Program 19 October:
14.00 Inauguration with presentation of the artists and the art installations.
15.45 Artist talk
16.00 Music recital with Palace on wheels
The café will be open and serve food, coffee and pastries.
The younger visitors can explore the Childrens Roundtrip in the forest by following the white stones…
