SSF 2021: Family Sangeet

Family Sangeet 2021 will take place at the Saraswathy Kalakendra Institution of Fine Arts in Vårby. Indian dance for children is led by Usha Balasundaram who is a dancer, choreographer with base in Bharatanatyam, and also the director of the school. Her disciple Sweatha Balasundaram has experience of not only Bharatanatyam, but also Bollywood and Bhangra and will lead the Bollywood dance session. Shafiq Khan from Rajastan will perform a show show for children, with music and dance in the drama featuring the traditional puppets of Rajastan.

First session:
11:00 Rajastani Puppet show by Shafiq Khan. Suitable for children 4 years and up
11:20-12:00 Indian dance for children with Usha Balasundaram. Suitable for children age 4 years and up.

Second Session:
12:30 Rajastani Puppet show by Shafiq Khan. Suitable for children 4 years and up
12:50-13:30 Indian dance for children with Usha Balasundaram. Suitable for children age 4 years and up.

Third session:
14:00-15:00 Bollywood dancing led by Sweatha Balasundaram. Suitable for youngsters and adults above age 12.

Entrance is free but you need to sign up by email to info@stockholmsangeet.se with name, number of people and if you like to attend session 1, 2 or 3.
